O'Keefe to stay on as Kerry trainer

John O'Keefe has announced that he will continue his role as Kerry football trainer after receiving an apology from team manager Paid? ? S? over his recent comments to the media.

In a statement released this evening, O Se apologised for any distress caused by his comments, which raised doubts about O'Keefe's ability.

"I have the greatest respect for John's professionalism," the statement said.

"His continuing contribution to the Kerry senior football team is a further demonstration of his loyalty and his commitment to Kerry football."
