Galway ran out winners over an out-of-sorts Kerry team today in Division 1A of the National Football League.

Galway had an interval lead of 1-07 to 0-05 and the outcome was never in doubt.

Young Galway star Michael Meehan got the all-important goal while Kerry's own starlet - Colm Cooper - was given a straight red card for an off-the-ball incident.
