Kerry to develop new training facility

Kerry GAA chiefs are reported to be developing a top of the range training facility at Crohane Fossa, just outside Killarney.

The move is designed to take away the stress on club pitches during winter which are often used for training by county teams.

County board chairman Sean Walsh said: "We have felt at executive level for a while that there is a great need to set up our own training facilities within Kerry."
